The Blackburn Extension Fund
Canadian Society of Extension Legacy
One of the major goals resulting from the dissolution of the Canadian Society of Extension (CSE) was that a legacy be created
to carry on the education of Extension principles. The CSE Dissolution Team approached the Agricultural Institute of Canada Foundation (AICF) to establish an Extension Speakers program.
This fund, created by a $15000 gift from the former Canadian Society of Extension will support the expenses of current, credible speakers at national and regional events on topics supporting the principles of extension and development.

The Klinck Lecture
Established by the AIC in 1966, the Klinck Lecture series is named after Dr. Leonard S. Klinck, first president of AIC's predecessor, the Canadian Society of Technical Agriculturists. For almost 40 years this annual program sponsored prominent authorities from around the world on cross-Canada speaking tours focusing on national and international agricultural issues and developments.
