Brief Instructions to Authors

Open Access Option

Authors have the option of making their articles immediate open access (available to all readers) by paying a fee of $750.00 in addition to the regular page charges. If you wish to make your article open access contact the editorial office (journals@aic.ca) or let us know when you return your corrected proof.

Citing Electronic Publications

Authors should consult Citing electronic publications in Canadian Journal of Plant Science for guidelines on the citation of electronic publications in Canadian Journal of Plant Science, Canadian Journal of Soil Science, and Canadian Journal of Animal Science (this information is also included in the Operations Manual).

Instructions to Remove Reviewers' Names from Word and PDF Files

In Word
Select: Tools/Options/Security
Check: "Remove personal information from properties on save."

In PDF
Select: View/Show Comments List

Highlight the comments list (click on the first comment, then Ctrl + A)
Right Click on the first comment

Select: Properties/General

Remove your name
Save the file
