Membership     AIC Liability Insurance Program

Aon Reed Stenhouse Inc. is the proud insurance broker for the liability insurance program sponsored by the Agricultural Institute of Canada. This program offers coverages such as Professional Liability Insurance and Commercial General Liability Insurance at discounted premiums to AIC members.

What is Professional Liability Insurance?

This insurance protects you against liability/allegations for damages resulting from a negligent act, error, omission or malpractice arising out of your profession as a Professional Agrologist or Certified Crop Advisor.

What is Commercial General Liability Insurance?

Commercial Liability Insurance covers your legal liability to a third party imposed by law for bodily injury and/or property damage arising from your premises or business operations. This policy is not available on a mono-line basis therefore you must purchase the Professional Liability insurance in order to qualify.

How Can I Apply?

Simply complete the two page application and submit it to Aon with payment in full (payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard or cheque). Upon acceptance of the application and payment, the insurance becomes effective and a certificate is mailed to you. The formal policy wording is available upon request. Please note that the common renewal date of the program is March 1st therefore premiums are pro-rated on a quarterly basis.
