AIC Board adopts position statement on collaboration and partnerships
The Board of Directors of the Agri-Food Council met, discussed, and approved a revised position statement on collaborations and partnerships in agri-food research.
The position statement outlines the importance of fostering collaboration and partnerships throughout the sector.
Farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, researchers, governments and consumers are key to enable knowledge transfer and that will speed up the adoption of new technology.
AIC, in its policy, recommends that the federal government support an annual forum bringing together all key players relevant to the agri-food sector to discuss issues related to research and innovation.
