Canada’s Sustainable Agriculture Strategy
Join us March 15th, 2023 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm ET
The Canadian government is developing a strategy on sustainable agriculture. It is presently asking Canadians (individuals and organizations) to provide feedback through its survey.
The survey is based on a discussion document accessible here.
AIC is holding a virtual panel discussion on the issue on March 15th, 2023 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm ET. The intent is to provide insight into what is meant by a sustainable agriculture strategy, what should be its key elements and help the community frame its response to the government survey.
Panel members include:
- Dr. Angela Bedard-Haughn PhD, PAg, Professor and Dean of the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at the University of Saskatchewan.
- Scott Ross, Executive Director, Canadian Federation of Agriculture
- Dr. Steve R. Webb PhD, Chief Executive Officer, Global Institute for Food Security
