The Board of Directors of the Agri-Food Innovation Council met and elected its Vice Chair (Dr. Wilf Keller), Treasurer (Peter Henderson) and Secretary (Dr. Rita Sterne). The Board also discussed various activities and plans for the upcoming year.

Following the Special Members Meeting, a new Board of Directors was selected. The new Board includes familiar AIC figures such as Dr. Lianne Dwyer (chair, 2012-2017) and Dr. Wilf Keller (chair, 2017-2020). Other directors were selected.
Members of AIC in attendance during the Special Members Meeting of September 27 voted in favour of strengthening the organization and look for new pathways to sustainability. Attendees heard from members of the Board, members and the CEO.
